I saw it and knew I had to have it. It leaves a really cool pattern on the wall when it's on :)Brie @ A Slice of Briehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02445361407533018855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4591658634412055487.post-32728552983927171012014-01-23T07:08:26.062-07:002014-01-23T07:08:26.062-07:00I feel the same way about the dresser in L's r...I feel the same way about the dresser in L's room ... glad I got something that can go in another bedroom. Actually, we have one that is woefully neglected and could use some furniture that isn't 30+ years old and deteriorating. But we'll let baby have the dresser first. :)

Where did you get the owl lamp? I would love that in my library!Kristilyn (Reading In Winter)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12401451485460760416noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4591658634412055487.post-69181007485376560122014-01-22T21:09:42.453-07:002014-01-22T21:09:42.453-07:00Thanks, Beth! I've been a big fan of grey for a long time too, but this is the first time I've actually used it in my own home - I'm excited to see it all done! :)Brie @ A Slice of Briehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02445361407533018855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4591658634412055487.post-2169405892457170092014-01-22T21:06:20.703-07:002014-01-22T21:06:20.703-07:00I love that dresser too - Jim and I actually have ...I love that dresser too - Jim and I actually have the same one already in our bedroom, except it's more that natural wood colour (same colour as my bookshelves). I figured we can't go wrong with it because even if it doesn't stay in the baby's room forever, it can always be used somewhere else! And the owl lamp I've owned for a few years now! I think I bought it knowing that one day I would use it in a baby's room :)

I will have to go check out Kath's blog! I know *of* her blog, but haven't been to it in ages. I can't wait to see it when it's all put together. And we would totally have a shit room if we had space! Seriously. Your colours and ideas remind me a lot of another blogger, Kath over at Kath Eats. You should check out her nursery at Baby Eats Real Food. She has the same kind of colours and the chevron pattern. It's really nice!

LOVE the owl! I have some owl receiving blankets but that's about it. Baby L's room is all about the animals, so there are a lot of them in the room. And simple -- I love simplicity!

I'm so excited to see the room finished! I'm glad the painting has finally started. :) Kristilyn (Reading In Winter)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12401451485460760416noreply@blogger.com
